Q. What if I want to have a break and keep my credit and points?

A. You may purchase an OnBreak plan here for 500 yen. This will keep points for up to 3 months. It can be renewed.

A. Anytime up until the end of the OnBreak plan. Please remember any portion of the 500 yen will not be refunded if renewing earlier than 3 months.

Accent Lessons

Q. Can I choose the teacher?

A. Yes. You can choose the teacher for each course.

Q. When can I take lessons?

A. From Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 22:00. Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00.

Q. Do you have holidays?

A. We have holidays from December 24 to January 5 every year.

Q. What will happen to the course's number of days during holidays?

A. We will extend the course period in case it has holidays such as Christmas.

Q. Can I cancel a booked lesson or change the schedule?

A. Cancelling or rescheduling lessons should be done 24 hours in advance. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, the lesson will be charged as a missed appointment.

Q. I feel like having a lesson today. Can I book right away?

A. Yes, but please book 6 hours before your desired time.

Q. How can I book a lesson?

A. After logging in to the Accent website, you can easily reserve a lesson. Location, time, etc. are available.

Q. Do you offer preparation courses for TOEIC and IELTS?

A. Yes, we do. We also offer other courses such as Business English, Daily Conversation, and Travel. We offer Homestay and Hospitality courses for restaurants and hotels as well.

Q. Do I have to prepare my own lesson materials?

A. At Accent, we don't require you to prepare your own lesson materials except for preparation courses such as TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS. However, you can also your own lesson materials if you'd prefer to.

Q. Since I'm an absolute beginner, should I be worried about taking lessons?

A. Accent teachers are well-experienced in teaching at various levels. Rest assured that we support each student according to their level.

Q. What do you mean with flexible curriculum?

A. Pre-determined lessons means fixed curriculum. In short, we customize the lessons to suit your learning needs. This kind of learning has always been considered effective.

Q. Is there an age limit for students?

A. We haven't specified any age limit. Currently, we are accepting students from pre-schoolers to 70 years old.

Q. What kind of teachers do you have? There is TESL・TESOL・TEFL・CELTA in the teacher's profile. What does this mean?

A. At Accent, our teachers are well-experienced and have teaching qualifications namely TESL・TESOL・TEFL・CELTA which are internationally recognized. This means that the teacher has passed the training and mastered a variety of teaching methods.

Q. Could you tell me more about the atmosphere of the lessons?

A. Our classroom is well-lit with a big window. Each instructor is warm and friendly to promote fun in the lesson while learning effectively towards your goal.

A. Our carry-over system can add the remaining lessons to the new course.
